Product Configurators
In 2005 I joined RichFX (acquired by ChannelAdvisor) as the UX and Creative Director for their advanced development team. One of the main offerings of this group was creating highly detailed visualizations of custom products. To create these visualizations we used innovative 3D modelling techniques along with multiple layers of transparent pngs. These configurators were a mix of art and science that pushed the boundaries of online visualization.
